Blanke Releases Emotional New Anthem “Flatline” with Calivania

Blanke might be the most seasonal artist I can think of and I actually just realized it. At the beginning of 2019, he released a few heavy midtempo songs, perfect for the beginning of the year. Toward the middle, he was focused on his Change & Decay EP, the cover of which is literally a leaf changing colors… And now, today, he’s dropped “Flatline,” a chilled out, melodic, emotional anthem with a cold, snowy mountain as the cover. Whether intentional or not, Blanke has perfected a thematic curve throughout the year. Ending it…

Peter Sarsgaard joins The Batman cast

Gotham is getting crowded. The cast for Matt Reeves’ The Batman continues to grow, with the latest addition being actor Peter Sarsgaard. The filmmaker confirmed the news on Twitter. As The Hollywood Reporter has it, there’s no confirmation on whom Sarsgaard may be playing. Insiders suggest the part is either that of a corrupt cop named Wasserman or a district attorney. That latter one obviously lights up the bat-signal for fans, as there’s only one D.A. of consequence in the Batman universe: Harvey Dent, aka the villain Two-Face. That would be…

What So Not’s Iconic Trap Anthem “Jaguar” Just Turned 6 [LISTEN AGAIN]

A song with one of the most iconic drops in all of trap music just turned six years old — What So Not‘s “Jaguar.” When “Jaguar” released in 2013, the What So Not was thriving as a duo, consisting of Emoh Instead and Harley Streten aka Flume. Though they split a couple years down the road due to creative differences, they released some truly remarkable productions in their time together — and this is one of the standouts. For many of us, “Jaguar” was a gateway song into the world…
